At twenty-four years old, Hyebin Park has performed throughout South Korea including Seoul, Busan, Deajeon, Gwangyang, Gwangju and Suncheon, and New York City. She has been a solist with Chungnam National University orchestra and Suncheon city youth orchestra. She also participated in a world-known music festival ‘International Keyboard Institute Festival’, and studied with great pianists including Matei Varga, Ilya Yakushev and Jerome Rose. She was told by Jerome Rose who is the founder and director of the festival and a judge of Chopin piano competition, “very talented young pianist.”, “she has sincere emotions in her music and it’s very special.”
Hyebin enjoys collaborating with other musicians and has learned and performed a significant repertoire of chamber music. At her college year, she made a chamber group called ‘Musical Moment’, and performed various concerts throughout South Korea. Also, she is interested in experimental music. So she recently performed American Premiere New Music concert under brilliant contemporary cellist Madeleine Shapiro.
Originally from Suncheon, South Korea, Hyebin is a second-year graduate student at Mannes College the New School for Music, in New York City. She studies with legendary Vladimir Feltsman and Yuri Kim.
